Opioids Induced Constipation Clinical Trial

KRK Medical Research is seeking volunteers to participate in a medical study to evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational medication for treatment of Opioid Induced Constipation.

This is a national study sponsored by a Major Pharmaceutical Company.

To qualify:
Male or female between the ages of 18 and 85.
Constipated due to narcotic use for pain management (e.g., Low Back Pain, Arthritis, Cervical Pain, Chronic Pain).
Have been taking narcotic medication for at least 1 month (for example: Vicodin, Lortab, Lorcet, MS Contin, OxyContin, Dilaudid, Duragesic, Actiq, methadone, codeine, hydrocodone, etc.).

Participation Duration: The opioid constipation study lasts up to 14 weeks and may require up to 9 visits. You can choose to enter an additional 14 week long phase of this study.

Subject Compensation: Up to $700

All study related medical procedures, physical examinations, physician visits, laboratory tests, and investigational medication are at no charge.  No health insurance is needed.
